Forever Kiss
I close my eyes and I am drifting,
to a place where a gentle breeze consumes me.
A moment suspended in time,
my heartbeat quickens with anticipation.
Feathery soft lips are pressing lightly,
but knowingly against mine.
I surrender and my senses are aroused.
I am aware of the sounds, far away bells sweetly chiming.
A refreshing smell of mint permeates my soul
and I am awakened from a forever kiss
